Chapter 1 - 2: Weirdo

‘Wait, I will try to wake her up and ask.’ I said to Marcus while shaking the girls shoulder. She didn’t move. I try to shake again violently, and she murmured, ‘Don’t disturb my sleep, or else you will know the consequence!’

‘Do you come to school to study or sleep?’ I shouted at her.

‘You!’ She woke up and looked at me. Her face sent shivers down my spine. Marcus gripped my hand and whispered to me, asking me to leave. But I refused. Marcus was scared, I knew.

‘Hey, you should thank me for waking you up so that you can follow the tutorial after this!’ I spoke to her firmly, though I am feeling scared as well.

‘Don’t bother.’ She stared at me again. This time she was murmuring something I couldn’t understand at all. ‘Hey, I wonder how a student like you can enter this university. Terrible!’ I started to feel angry.

Suddenly my mind became blank. I was sitting on a very small isolated island. All I can see is just sea water. ‘Where am I now? Why am I suddenly sitting in the middle of an ocean?’ I was thinking. All of a sudden many sharks rose above the sea water level, and moved towards the island where I was sitting!

‘Sharks!’ I yelled it out loudly. But no one was coming for help. I tried to find something on the beach that I could use to defend myself, but the island only had sand. ‘Please, someone please help me!’ I shouted as loud as I can. But all I could see was sea water, no one would come. I tried to find somewhere to hide, but failed.

The sharks came nearer and nearer. I was scared and screamed for help again and again, but no one came. To my horror, the island started to submerge, and the sharks had come nearer, opening their mouths, drooling. The island was fully submerged in the sea, and I was screaming for help, but again, no use.

Countless sharks had arrived, surrounding my body with their open mouths. I tried hard to find a route to escape by diving into the water, but the sharks were blocking my way. I could feel the intense pain of them biting my body and savoring my flesh. ‘Argggh……!’ I was screaming in agony. I still tried to release myself from the sharks, but the their number was countless and it was impossible to run away.

Much blood was flowing out from my body. This attracted more sharks to come to join the meal. With their sharp teeth, they tore away both my legs and hands. and next, my head…
