Latest updates

A lot of things happened recently, and finally, I made it halfway through.

Firstly, all of a sudden my landlady asked me to move out a few weeks ago. I was so shocked when she told me this, since I thought I am gonna stay here for the rest of my degree course. She informed me this just 1 week before my first exam, and do you think I will still have mood to study?

I spent about a few days to look for advertisements about room letting, calling various landlords, inspecting the selected rooms etc. It was exhausting both physically and mentally, as you have to juggle with study and room finding. Finally I found a room near Fruitgrove train station and oops, the rent is $100 a week (compared to $65 a week now). Haiz, have to accept, but anyway the room is bigger and near to the train station meaning it'll be convenient for me to go to uni next year. The funny thing I found was that the street name is 'Plum st' meaning '李子街', haha suit my surname!

Next is about my work. That is kinda busy and boring at the same time. I couldnt learn a lot coz I have to deal with the increasing webster packs. Good news is, my colleague is gonna travel during the winter break, and I will work 2 days a week compensate his leave! Hihi extra pay + extra learning experience. I am also very happy coz I receive my badge from my boss, maybe it is not a big deal for any employee, but for me it is kinda recognition as a staff member.

Next thing is about my exam, I have sit a 4 exams and 2 more to go. I would say I did my best to prepare, since I was worried about moving during my study leave. Haiz I did my best for my first few papers, and I believe I'll at least make a pass. Hopefully the next 2 wont be as hard and I can easily sail through.

Today is Tuesday, and tomorrow I have a day break - haiz have to study... Then Thursday I'll have my last exam and my 2nd year first sem is over!! Life may not be easy as you think, you may think I'm gonna go home and sleep, play PC etc? Totally wrong! First I have to go for a hair cut I believe (long hair like ghost now already). The next thing is to go back and pack my stuffs so I can move out ASAP. Imagine packing up all my things, it gives me headache. Next I am gonna finalize my itinerary to NZ if i have got any time left on Thursday.

Both Friday and Saturday are gonna be devoted to working in pharmacy, I hope it is not as busy sob sob.. Probably can do something when I come back at night? Sunday will be the day I move out, so bye bye 134 chester Rd and lets go to 11 plum st! On that day also I need to pack my stuffs and get ready for my NZ trip - I ll be flying there on the next day - Monday morning!

Couldn't imagine what will happen in these few days... Do you think I will still have mood to take the following exams?

Later. Take care.

Surrender..

Aiya really really wanna blog but no time :( . But under so much pressure from grissom and sy I'll just spare 15 minutes writing about today lar.

It was weird in the morning as there was a really thick fog (oh man the visibility is vv low), so I dare not even put hang my clothes outside, but after I reached uni the fog cleared and the sun came out, :O !

I had only one lecture in the morning today, and it is about my final exam - sucks I hate oral exam! Anyway that was a short one and I stayed at the library for a while just for a short revision. After having my lunch (I always have lunch at about 10.30am, I should call that 'brunch', at about 11am I had my last PASS session this semester and huh, nothing much different, people are just talking among themselves and I dont bother.

Next, I took a bus to the city and I had 2 things to do - find my placement preceptor and confirm my next semester placement time and go to a currency exchange centre to get some NZ dollars (btw forget to mention I'll go to New Zealand this winter :D ). Unfortunately my preceptor wasnt working today, haiz later I had to email her instead.

Time passed really fast and I was in uni again at 1.15pm, in front of a computer sending emails, lodging claims for my salary, checking Blackboard and just made it to my last lab session this semester at 2pm. We watched a video about Parkinson's and it was quite interesting. Halfway through the video my phone vibrated and to my surprise, a pharmacist called me and asked to attend an interview!!! Very happy and after that I ignored the subsequent CAL session and oops I ran away!

But bad things did happen and I was scolded by a 'rude' bus driver for standing to front in the bus (^*(&$#&@@#!). Anyway I was lucky to squeeze into the bus.

Haiz basically this is my one day life. I realized that everyday I go to uni I must have something else to do besides attending lectures. Life sure is busy, but who cares? I'll be having a one week study break and exams after that, and then, bye bye 1st sem, and here I come, NZ!

Take care. Later

Latest info about myself

Hey,

I know I haven't posted anything for almost one month, but I can't help coz I really have NO time to blog. I was really busy these past few weeks, as my PASS sessions have started. I teach 2 1-hour sessions per week, and that really takes much of my time coz I have to prepare worksheets, notes and of course revise what I have studied in 1st semester last year. Anyway it is good to be a PASS leader - you have got a staff email which gives you unlimited internet access and most importantly you are paid $32/hr, but sucks, the government here is like vampire - they tax $5 for each hour I worked. Dang, I have just have to fill in the tax form again and apply for tax exemption bla.. bla.. blah...

I have also started working as a pharmacy assistant in PV pharmacy, which is nice and quiet. It takes me some effort to get this job, and the pharmacy is really far my where I live. But just endure it lar, after I got the experience I will just resign and find another pharmacy muahaha! The pay is quite good as well, they pay $17 per hr, and I worked 8 hours only on Saturday - one day of work = 2 weeks of rent, hehe! The boss is quite 'good' though..

Being as a casual tutor, a pharmacy assistant and a student, you'd expect life to be extremely busy. My Saturdays vanish after I started working in the pharmacy. But I like this kind of life, you have got learn something new, you earn some money with your own hands (I nvr work b4 in M'sia), and you've got to fill in all your leisure time so you wont have time to be depressed / miss family.

Now I am having one-week of Easter Break, and it is really 'jiu han feng gan lu'. I needa catch up my studies, finish up my assignments, finish (or at least partially finish) my PMF and of course have some rest. Haiz tomorrow I have got to apply for placement, meet with a lecture, then Friday have a blackmores CAM training, Saturday have to work, Sunday have laundries and groceries, Monday school starts....

Life sure is harsh... Hope you all enjoy your life!

It was fun!! You will really feel happy if your knowledge can help other people to learn the subject. Satisfaction... and people calling you for help... asking for email address... muahaha!!

And easily earn my first $31.24 in Australia.

Blog reactivated!!

I don't really want to write this post, as I have nothing to write to tell the truth. For your information, I am back to Brisbane 2 days ago. Nothing to tell, just to say that my blog is still active. I am currently reading many articles regarding magic (or magick, to differentiate from the magic tricks) including Celtic, Egyptian, Mayan, Chaos, Solomon's, Wiccan, runic etc magic, so stay tuned if you are interested. Of course I will still post articles about my life here.
